Our journal “MEYAD ACADEMY” is a peer-reviewed scientific electronic journal published twice a year by our Mobbing Education Assistance and Research Association (MEYAD). Thanks to “MEYAD ACADEMY”, we aim to produce scientifically-based rational solutions and workforce policies that will bring safe, peaceful and contemporary standards to workplace environments in working life.

In addition to having an academic quality, the studies are expected to make new and original contributions to the discussions in business life. It is also aimed to contribute to the formation of an accumulation that will benefit the people/institutions working in the field in Turkey. In this context, we invite esteemed researchers to contribute to our peer-reviewed journal with their original studies. The publication language of the journal is Turkish. However, articles written in widely used languages ​​are also accepted. These articles are used in their original form or translated into Turkish.
Articles must not have been previously published or accepted for publication anywhere.
Researchers should prepare their articles on the specified topics, in an academic style and in an original way, in accordance with the format requirements stated below.
If the research subject article and article is supported by any institution or produced from the thesis, this should be stated in the submitted article.

The articles published in the journal should not have been published in any media before and should be published for the first time in the Journal of Mobbing Education Assistance Research Association MEYAD Academy. Papers that have been previously presented at a scientific meeting can be accepted provided that it is stated.
Studies requested to be published in the journal will be sent via https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/meyadakademi address.
The intellectual responsibility of the articles published in the journal belongs to the authors. All publishing rights of the texts accepted for publication, including the full text in physical and electronic media, belong to the Mobbing Education Assistance Research Association MEYAD Academy Journal.
The rights of the drawings, photographs and visual materials used also belong to the Mobbing Education Assistance Research Association MEYAD Academy Magazine and, on a contractual basis, its illustrators and photographers.

ARTICLE WRITING RULES

MAIN TITLE

It should be short, clear and adequately reflecting the content of the article, it should be 14 points, the Bookman Old Style should be used, it should be written in capital letters and bold, and should not exceed fifteen words.

Author Name(s) and Address(es)

Author information should not be included in the submitted article. During the submission of the article, a single-page word file containing the author's information should be uploaded, the author's name(s) and the title of the article should be justified to the right, the surname should be written in all capital letters, 12 font size, and Bookman Old Style should be used.

The author, author's address(es), title, institution, e-mail address and ORCID number should be stated just below. This part should be 9 points, Bookman Old Style should be used. Considering the examples of articles published in previous issues, details such as author order, responsible author * and footnotes should be similarly defined in this file.

Abstract and Keywords

The Turkish abstract should reflect the purpose, scope and results of the study, and allow the reader to determine the content of the article in a short time and with precision. The abstract should be a minimum of 50 words and a maximum of two paragraphs. Turkish keywords consisting of at least 3 and at most 5 words should be written under one line of the abstract. English translations of the abstract, title and keywords should also be included. Care should be taken that there are no language mistakes in English abstracts.

Main Text

Articles should be written using the Microsoft Word software program, not exceeding 30 pages, excluding the bibliography. The page layout should be in A4 size, margins should be 2.5 cm from the right, left, top and bottom, with 1.5 line spacing, aligned on both sides and the space between paragraphs, before and after 3 pt, and the page number should be given. Bookman Old Style font should be used in the article, hyphenation should not be used at the end of the line. The main heading number and the first paragraph should be aligned. Instead of the “TAB” key at the beginning of the paragraph, the “ENTER” or “RETURN” key should be used. Punctuation marks should be written adjacent to the words before them. A one-letter space should be left after the aforementioned signs.

The work must comply with the grammar rules. The article should be based on the latest TDK Spelling Guide, a clear and simple way of expression should be followed, and unnecessary information that goes beyond the purpose and scope should not be included. In the preparation of the article, valid scientific methods should be followed, the subject, purpose, scope of the study, the reason for its preparation, etc. information should be given in sufficient quantity and in a certain order.

An article should contain a summary, parts of the main text, a bibliography and (if any) appendices. “Introduction” and “Conclusion” sections must be present. The “result” should be appropriate to the purpose and scope of the research; should be outlined and summarized. Matters that are not mentioned in the text should not be included in the "Conclusion" section. Main, intermediate and sub-headings can be used to provide a certain order.

Main title: All capital letters should be written in bold. The main heading number and the first paragraph should be aligned.

Subheadings: The first letter of each word should be capitalized, all in bold. The subheading number should be aligned with the first paragraph.

Sub-headings: The first letter of the first word of the title should be capitalized, the first letter of the next word(s) should be written in lowercase, all in bold, and the article should be continued on the same line by placing a colon (overlapping) at the end of the title. The subheading number should be aligned with the first paragraph.

Figures, tables and photographs: Figures, tables and photographs should not go beyond the writing area, and if necessary, each should be placed on a separate page. Figures and tables should be numbered and named according to their content. Only the first letters of the words should be written in capital letters so that the numbers and titles are below the figures and above the tables. Tables must be made with the table command in the "WORD" program. In obligatory cases, "EXCEL" tables can be used. Where necessary, explanatory footnotes or abbreviations should be given just below the figures and tables. Figures, tables and illustrations should not exceed ten pages.

Quotations: One-to-one quotations in the article should be given in quotation marks, and the source should be indicated in parentheses at the end of the quotation in accordance with the Vancouver style. Quotations less than five lines should be italicized between sentences, and quotations longer than five lines should be italicized within 1 cm from the left and right of the page. References should only be cited in parentheses at the end of non-literal citations.

The evaluation process will not be started for applications that do not comply with the writing and submission rules. For this purpose, authors should carefully read the journal writing rules. The articles that cannot be accepted will be published as a column on the website of the MEYAD association, provided that the responsible author gives permission.

CITING

The source writing style of our journal is “Vancouver style”. However, if you use the Endnote program, unlike the Vancouver style, the magazine names are written long. In the Vancouver style, the magazine names are abbreviated. For this, special attention should be paid to the Vancouver writing style as part of the spelling rules. It should be 10 points, Bookman Old Style should be used.

When using bibliography, it is recommended to use Endnote, Zotero or Mendeley programs.

After all the checks on your article are completed, check your article by going through the iThenticate (plagiarism system) program and send us the iThenticate report with your article. All universities are members of the iThenticate program and you can go to your university's library documentation and get a username and password and use this program for free.

The authors of the work accepted for publication in the journal must fill in the Copyright Transfer Form and submit it after signing it.

No fee is charged for the studies published in our journal.




First of all, the articles should be prepared in accordance with the scientific qualification criteria.
It is important to reflect the opinions of the institutions operating according to the subject of the articles prepared objectively.
The journal is a peer-reviewed journal published every 6 months in "April" and "October". The responsibility of the published articles belongs to the author. All rights of the articles belong to the journal.
Institutional distribution was taken into consideration in the Editorial and Advisory Boards. The editorial board consists of people working in different institutions.
For the evaluated articles, referees are appointed from different institutions, and the principles of impartiality and diversity are taken into consideration.
In the articles published in our journal, attention is paid to the diversity of institutions and authors.

PUBLICATION ETHICS PRINCIPLES

Meyad Akademi Journal, in order to provide the academic and ethical standards at the highest level, the principle it has determined based on the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the ethical rules specified in the "Higher Education Institutions Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive" issued by the Council of Higher Education. and enforces the rules.
The compliance of all studies submitted to the journal with the purpose, principles and standards of the journal is initially evaluated by the Editorial Board. In the evaluation, situations such as plagiarism, duplication, false authorship/denied authorship, research/data fabrication, article slicing, slicing, copyright infringement and concealment of conflict of interest are considered unethical behaviors.
Studies submitted to more than one journal at the same time and works that violate legal and academic criteria such as copyright and/or plagiarism will not be evaluated; Those who are found to be in violation at any evaluation stage are immediately stopped and returned to their author(s). In case of a conflict of interest, the evaluation process of the article is suspended until the uncertainty is resolved.
Symposium proceedings; It can be published provided that the place, meeting and date of the presentation are recorded and it has not been published elsewhere. However, the responsibility of any problems that may arise from this publication activity belongs to the author.
The "double-blind referee" evaluation process is applied for the studies submitted to the journal. A work with two positive referee reports is eligible for publication. In case of conflicting or insufficient referee evaluations, it may be possible to apply for additional referee evaluation.
All articles that do not comply with the accepted ethical rules are removed from the publication. This includes articles with possible irregularities and inconsistencies detected after publication. Meyad Academy; correction, refutation etc. acts responsibly in publishing content of the nature.
Meyad Academy defends and observes freedom of expression under all circumstances. Meyad Academy; racist, sexist, discriminatory etc. evaluates all kinds of content as hate speech and uses its right to reject the articles in this content without making it into the process.
Considering the importance of confidentiality in the scientific publishing process, Meyad Academy shares private information about the author, field editors and referees only in order to prevent suspected abuse of research and fulfill its obligation to respond.
The publication processes implemented in the Journal of Meyad Academy aim to form the basis for the development and distribution of information in an impartial and respectable manner. It is considered important that all stakeholders (authors, readers and researchers, publishers, referees and editors) in the writing and publishing process comply with the rules regarding ethical principles.


ETHICS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Authors who submit articles to the journal, reviewers and editors undertake to comply with the following ethical rules and accept these rules and responsibilities.


Publisher's Ethical Responsibilities


Meyad Academy Journal;
 It does not charge any fees from the authors.
 It is responsible for making the decision to publish the article sent for publication based on the referee's evaluations, for the editorial board policies of the Journal and for taking legal measures against plagiarism, insult and copyright infringement. In this context, if deemed necessary, permission, consent form etc. from the authors. requests documents.
 Takes the copyright transfer of the articles by filling out and signing the form presented on the Journal website or Dergipark.
 Studies sent to the journal are evaluated together with the Plagiarism Report (Turnitin) by the Editorial Board. Studies with an acceptable level of similarity according to the TR index criteria are accepted into the referee evaluation process.
 In studies that require Ethics Committee permission and/or legal/special permission in accordance with the TR Index criteria, it ensures that the information about the permission (committee name, date and issue number) is included in the method section of the article and also on the first/last page of the article.
 Takes care to protect the property and copyright of each published article and to keep a record of each copy. It takes care to comply with the copyright regulations for the intellectual and artistic works used in the articles.
 Commit to protecting the confidentiality of communication to the widest possible extent. Makes initial inquiries before sharing information in doubtful cases.
 Provides the right of the authors to object to the correction requests made by the Editorial Board or the referees, together with their justifications, and the opportunity to review the rejected works within the framework of the evaluation reports and submit them to the journal again.


Ethical Duties and Responsibilities of Editors


Editors;
1- While accepting articles, he should prioritize academic concerns and criteria, and accept articles that will contribute to the relevant fields specified in the Journal's policy in the evaluation process.
2- It has all the responsibility and authority to accept or reject an article. However, there should not be any conflict of interest/relationship with accepted or rejected articles.
3- It is the duty of the editors to complete the preliminary review, refereeing, editing and publishing processes of the articles sent to the journal in a timely and healthy manner.
4- They should evaluate all articles fairly, based on the intellectual content of the article, regardless of the author's gender, race, ethnicity, religion, citizenship or political values. If they have observed any conflict of interest regarding the articles, they should be disclosed.
5- It is the responsibility of the editors to keep the names of the referees and authors mutually confidential and to keep other information about the articles confidential.
6- Make every effort to scan the articles sent for publication for plagiarism and thus to prevent academic dishonor.
7- In case the authors object to the referee reports by stating their scientific reason and reasons, they should review the study and reports.
8- It should not show people who do not contribute to the journal as members of the editorial board or assistant editors.

Ethical Rules and Responsibilities for Authors


Writers;


1- The journal reads and accepts the publication, spelling and ethical principles, and the articles to be sent are prepared in accordance with the "spelling rules",
2- Submitted, under evaluation or published articles should not be sent to another journal, not under evaluation or published,
3- The article is original, does not contain plagiarism (although plagiarism will be scanned by the Journal, the results of plagiarism, which is academic dishonor, will be entirely directed to the author), does not violate the intellectual property rights of another person or institution,
4- The order of authors is arranged according to the order of contribution to the article, it is ensured that all authors contribute to the study, it is accepted that all authors have equal responsibility for the article,
5- All individuals who do not meet the criteria for authorship but contribute to the study (only those who provide technical support, help with the writing or only provide general support, financial and material support) will be included in the "thanks / additional information" section,
6- The article is of a quality that will contribute to scientific and academic fields, that including fake data, tampering with data and materials, deleting, removing or skipping operations that are difficult to interpret, and distorting the findings are distrustful,
7- In case of a need for permission, all permissions are obtained and both detailed in the article and uploaded additionally during the uploading phase of the article,
8- Clearly specifying the articles removed from the thesis, presentation or paper,
9- Informing the Journal in case of conflict of interest,
10- Presenting the content in detail so that the article can contribute to the literature and cite references by other authors,
11- Waiting for the Editorial Board to complete the article evaluation process, transferring all the rights of the studies decided to be published to the Journal during the publication process,
12- Raw or processed data used in the article will be submitted to the Editorial Board upon request,
13- To give reference to all the citations used in the article and that the cited sources are from acceptable, reliable and reputable places,
14- If any, the sources of funds used in the article should be stated accurately and clearly,
15- If he notices any mistake after sending the manuscript, notify the Editor immediately by making corrections, and make the desired corrections in the Editorial Board and referee reports in a timely manner,
accept and undertake.

Ethical Responsibilities of Referees

Referees;

1- They should evaluate all articles fairly, based on the intellectual content of the article, regardless of the author's gender, race, ethnicity, religion, citizenship or political values.
2- They should make their evaluations objective, measured and constructive in a way that is far from being hostile or provocative, and avoiding making accusatory or derogatory personal comments.
3- They evaluate the articles within the time given to them, taking into account that they have the necessary expertise to evaluate the articles correctly. (In cases where they do not have the necessary expertise, cannot abide by the confidentiality of blind referees, and cannot keep the details of the article confidential, they should not accept their refereeing and report this situation to the Journal in an appropriate time.) If these conditions are not met, they should not object to the appointment of another referee by the Editor.
4- Only the accuracy of the content of the articles and their compliance with academic criteria should be evaluated. The fact that the opinions expressed in the article are different from the opinions of the referee should not affect the evaluation.
5- Superficial and ambiguous expressions should be avoided in evaluation reports. In evaluations with negative results, the missing and flawed points on which the result is based should be shown in a concrete way.
6- If they observe a conflict of interest during the review process, they should notify the Editor.
7- They should keep all information about the article confidential.
8- They cannot use the information obtained during the evaluation process to the advantage of themselves or others or other organizations, or to put others at a disadvantage or undermine their reputation.
9- If there is any information that may cause the rejection of the publication of the article, they should notify the Editor.
10- They accept that the final decision is under the authority of the Editorial Board.
11- They evaluate with the awareness that they are the main determinants of the academic quality of the article to be published in the journal and with the responsibility of increasing the academic quality.
12- They undertake that the Editor will be informed if it is determined that the article has a serious similarity with another source or that it has been published in another medium.
Ethical Rules for Research
1- In accordance with the ethical rules of the TR Index criteria, whether an ethics committee approval and/or legal/special permission is required in the articles to be published in our journal should be stated in the article.
